| GMI Composites, Inc. was
established in 1923 as a button manufacturer. During the
1960’s we began to focus on Structural Composites.
In that period we molded the “Bowden Bicycle”.
It was the forerunner of today’s composite bikes.Currently
it is being displayed in the Smithsonian Institute and
the Museum of Science and Industry. The current management
group purchased the company in 1984. With them they brought
knowledge of advanced composites. Currently we service
several industries that range from marine to aerospace. |
